My Mission
Press Kit - Tea Lover Chic in the News!

Hello my name is Stephanie (Tea Lover Chic). I am a mother of two and married.
I am from Fairfield, California (currently residing in Sacramento) and have lived in three other states throughout my life. My time spent in Arkansas has influenced me greatly. I witnessed hospitality, graciousness, love of family and God, Southern charm and good manners. Because of this influence I strive to show others these gracious traits. I try to be gracious in dealing with the tea room owners and therefore I will not write a harsh or nasty review.
My mission is to promote tea rooms in the area. Most of them are small businesses owned by women and I want to help them. None of the owners pay me to write these reviews and I strive to be fair in my writings.
The second part of my mission is to promote tea drinking, education about tea, and how to use the afternoon tea party to promote gracious, relaxed living! I especially want to see young women of all ages coming to tea rooms and using their etiquette skills. I love to see a family of women of all generations sipping tea together!
If you have never tasted gourmet loose tea brewed in a tea pot and sipped slowly from a bone china tea cup then you have missed a great deal! Please go to one of these tea rooms and take your mother, daughter or friend with you! British men have been going to tea rooms for years so see if your man will go too!
Butterfly Garden

I have been organizing and hosting my own private tea parties for a couple of years in my Butterfly Garden Tearoom located in my home. I have learned what skills and equipment are needed for brewing tea, planning menus, and setting a beautiful tea table. At this time I am not open to the public.
I am constantly reading about tea and educating myself as well as attending seminars. I received a Certificate of Completion from the World Tea Expo in Las Vegas for the seminars that I have completed.
Recently I completed the Tea & Etiquette consultant program designed by Dorothea Johnson, the Founder and Chair of The Protocol School of Washington. She is known as an etiquette and protocol expert. It is an honor to be a Tea & Etiquette consultant!
In the future, I will be attending Tea Certification Level 1 classes which are presented by the Specialty Tea Institute.
