Review

If you prefer a cozy setting for afternoon tea then this is the place for you! This Victorian tea room is located in a lovely Bed and Breakfast Inn in a wooded retreat in Colfax.

Expect a relaxing atmosphere where music is softly playing in the background! This is a small room so be sure and call in advance for your group events!

The tea is served already strained and is kept warm on tea warmers. You are given three types of tea to choose from with a few extras. I prefer to have more choices of tea to choose from such as a white, a green and an Estate tea. The tea is prepared properly and is not too strong.

The food that is served is delicious and presented nicely. You will be served two different finger sandwiches, maybe a fruit salad, two kinds of tea breads, small dessert and scones (with lemon curd, strawberry jam and mock clotted cream)! The best treat of all is the quiche!!!

You will be served with a smile and personal service! Before you leave you will have your picture taken with a digital camera by the owner and the picture presented to you as a keepsake!

If you would like to get away to the country and relax with a few friends then you will enjoy this room! There is also a gazebo in the back for summer tea parties!
